Day 91 - hut zero

Angelus hut.

The rain started about 4am, a thunderous beating on the hut roof waking me up. Secretly happy our plan of having a zero in the hut seemed to be working, I drifted back to sleep and didn’t wake up until 8.30am - the latest we’d slept in for months.

The wind and rain battered the hut for most of the day, and we sat gleefully inside looking out at a sea of white where the lake had been the day before.

We played cards, ate, and slept.

A perfect hut day.
